Dr. Jack Fan: Clinical Review of Orlicaine

We've been using Orlicaine regularly in our office and it has helped significantly improve the patient experience. We use it on patients that need deep cleanings or implant delivery to help reduce discomfort. We also use Orlicaine as a pre-anesthesia topical to alleviate patient anxiety from the injection. Many of our patients say that they don't feel the needles at all and that has helped them to come back and finished the dental treatment.

In Summary:

Regular use in practice: Orlicaine is regularly used in the office to enhance patient comfort.

  1. Effective for deep cleanings and implant delivery: It reduces discomfort for patients undergoing deep cleanings or implant procedures.

  2. Pre-anesthesia topical: Used as a topical anesthetic before injections, helping to alleviate patient anxiety.

  3. Positive patient feedback: Many patients report not feeling the needles at all, leading to increased confidence in completing their dental treatment.

  4. Improved patient retention: Enhanced comfort has encouraged patients to return and complete their treatment plans.
